Celebrating Our Partnership with The PANDAS Foundation

November 19, 2024 | Charity Partnerships

iCandy is excited to announce its partnership with The PANDAS Foundation, joining forces to provide essential mental health support for parents and carers across the UK.

The PANDAS Foundation

is the UK’ leading perinatal charity that offers free, confidential support services for parents and carers who are struggling with their mental health. Whether it’s through WhatsApp, email, bookable calls, or peer-to-peer support groups, the charity helps over 10,000 families each year. As demand for mental health resources grows, this partnership aims to make these services even more accessible and encourage early intervention.

"We’re honoured to partner with The PANDAS Foundation, an organisation that plays a vital role in supporting the well-being of parents and carers. At iCandy, we believe every family deserves care and understanding, and we’re proud to help break down the stigma surrounding mental health, particularly for fathers."

Bradley Appel, Joint-CEO of iCandy

This collaboration officially launched on the 19th November 2024

coinciding with International Men’s Day. The PANDAS Foundation is focused on supporting fathers and male carers, as mental health challenges in this group are often overlooked. Research indicates that 10% of fathers experience perinatal mental illness, and up to 50% experience anxiety or depression when their partner is also struggling with mental health issues.
