We want to assure our customers that any Orange products purchased after 2nd July 2024 are not subject to the voluntary recall. If your fork looks like the below image and has this mark, then your product is fine.

Customer feedback is extremely important to iCandy and is invaluable when it comes to enhancing the overall performance of our product in the pursuit of perfection. 

Through extensive and valuable customer feedback, it has been brought to our attention that improvements could be made to the manoeuvrability of the iCandy Orange 3. We are aware that after a period of use there have been some instances when the front removable wheels have experienced limitations in their manoeuvrability.

In response to this feedback, we have been working hard to find a workable solution.

We have carried out extensive lifecycle testing on a solution and found these washers last on average in excess of 6 months per set.  We are confident that these washers will help maintain manoeuvrability.

We are happy to provide you with the upgrade kit that can be fitted with ease in a matter of seconds to your Orange 3. The kit will consist of a simple how to leaflet along with a number of washers to keep you on the road. 

Fitting these washers is intended to reduce wear between components and provide an extra layer to give extended use without interruption. Like most consumables, these can be replaced after a period should they be needed.

All models of Orange 3 are affected and can be identified by the batch labels on the right side of the basket frame under the fabrics as below:

In response to this and as part of our ongoing innovation-promise and quality improvement programme iCandy’s team of dedicated in-house UK designers have worked on enhancing the hinged swivel bumper bar mechanism for complete product satisfaction.

To help identify if your bumper bar is eligible for an upgrade, look for a noticeable 'swivel' hinged mechanism on both ends of the arm of your current bumper bar, where you may also notice a slight cosmetic 'gap' at the mechanism join.

The iCandy’s innovative swivel hinged bumper bar is designed to ensure your child’s safety at all times while making the parenting journey as smooth as possible. The double swivel hinge design enables parents to partially remove the bumper bar at either end, enabling an easy transition of baby in and out of both the seat unit and carry cot. It is advised that all users of the bumper bar safely swivel the arm always away from baby's face, directing the angle of movement from the baby's waist and down.

In response to this and as part of our innovation promise and our refusal to accept limitation when it comes to style and design, iCandy’s team of dedicated designers have worked on developing the wheel mechanism for complete product satisfaction.

It has recently been identified that a very limited number of iCandy Peach bumper bars are missing a plastic cap which results in there being a small hole in the bumper bar, visible at either side of the base of the hinge mechanism.

It should be noted that this hole is only visible when the bumper bar has been completely removed and levered back on one side.

There has been an extremely limited number of reports of this occurring since the Peach 2018’s commercially launch in March 2018, but as part of our duty of care to all our customers we are instructing all Peach users to check their bumper bars. This can be done quickly by removing and assessing the bumper bar, see video below for reference. Please ensure you inspect both ends of the bumper bar.

Please be assured if your Peach bumper bar has both caps in place there is no risk at a later date of an issue occurring.

As with all iCandy products, extensive testing above and beyond the requirements of safety standards, including user trials were carried out at the time of Peach 2018’s launch. During the process of formal certification and due diligence, no fault was found with the bumper bar.

As part of our ongoing product monitoring programme, it was identified that a few iCandy Orange bumper bars were missing a plastic cap which results in there being a small hole in the bumper bar, visible at the base of the hinge mechanism. It should be noted that this hole is only accessible when the bumper bar has been removed and levered back on one side. This relates specifically to the following batches: E11076, 11125, 11147, 11159, 11160 of the Orange 2017 pushchair. 

As with all iCandy products, extensive testing above and beyond the requirements of safety standards, including user trials were carried out. During the process of formal certification and due diligence, no fault was found with the bumper bar.

Upon notification of a plastic cap missing, further risk assessments were carried out. Quality control checks were increased in production and a 100% inspection was carried out of stock held. Immediate changes to the design and manufacturing process of this component were made.

We would like to take this opportunity to request users to carry out a visible check of their product. This can be done quickly by removing and assessing the bumper bar, see images below for reference.
